Our Visiting Students Programme

Sadly, our Visiting Student programme is on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thank you for considering our Visiting Students programme. If you are interested in this programme, please do contact us to register your interest.
Our Visiting Student Programme provides students from Steiner (Waldorf) schools in Europe and further afield to attend our Classes
8, 9, 10, and 11 for one or two terms as well as a whole school year.

We aim to have an international group of overseas students and often have students from France, Germany, Holland, Scandinavia or Switzerland.

Overseas students are fully integrated into our classes and follow the Steiner School Curriculum used worldwide.

The students are supported by teachers, students and host families, especially at the beginning of their stay. Our Boarding Officer is responsible for the well being of our visiting students and makes sure they receive all the support they need.

Visiting students often remark on the 'family like' nature of our school (214 pupils in total). A report is issued at the end of every overseas student's stay.
Visiting Students love coming to our school to learn english
Hallo.  Willkommen in unserer Schule.
The cost for tuition (including trips and activities) varies according to the class and what is happening in each term. For full details please read the information below.

Visiting students stay with carefully selected host families and are guaranteed a warm welcome. Full checks are carried out to ensure the suitability of families and premises. The accommodation cost is £175 per week including board and lodging as well as transport to and from school.
PLEASE NOTE: Students are expected to go home during the Christmas, Easter and Summer holidays if they are staying more than one term. Half term holidays are spend with the host family.

THERE ARE FIVE STEPS TO THE APPLICATION PROCESS:

Please follow them in order and please read all the information before sending your application.
