Class Teacher - £27,000 - £29,000

South Devon Steiner School is looking to recruit an experienced Steiner Waldorf teacher with a proven track record of good classroom management. The successful candidate will have a passion for education, a deep sense of age appropriate boundaries and how to uphold them, and a firm and fair approach.

The primary focus of this post is to teach and hold a Steiner Waldorf class from Class 1 through to Class 5 (Lower School) or Class 6 to Class 8 (High School), working with the teaching and rhythm of the Steiner Waldorf curriculum.

High School Sciences & Maths Teachers

Our expanding High School is recruiting passionate, experienced and inspiring Steiner Waldorf teachers to join our existing team of skilled teachers and subject specialists.

Our Upper School faculty delivers the full Waldorf curriculum, all the way to 18 years. This is assessed using the NZCSE (New Zealand Certificate of Steiner Education) framework, which at Level 3 allows our students to apply direct to university.

The primary focus of this post is to hold a subject specialism within the school and to bring a strong and enlivened experience to pupils between the ages of 12 - 18 years, within the context of the Steiner Waldorf curriculum. We are open to exploring various subject specialisms including the Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths.

Please call Jeff van Zyl, Education Manager, for an initial discussion prior to application on 01803-897377 ext 216 or email jeff.van.zyl@sdsteiner.org

Trustees (volunteer)

Our Council of Trustees is looking to recruit new members.
