Outdoor Classroom
Steiner education has reverence for nature at its core.
As a rural campus located in an area of exceptional biodiversity and natural wonders, the Outdoor Classroom Initiative extends our curriculum beyond our school walls into the wilds of Dartmoor National Park and the South West Coast.
Students across the age ranges use the gardens to explore the Sciences for example creating a Dye Garden, for Social Practical exercises and Land Skills development, including traditional hedge laying and bio dynamic growing techniques.
